Rohloff Chain Tensioner 8250

The Rohloff chain tensioner allows you to use Rohloff’s Speedhub on full-suspension bikes, as it keeps the chain at a suitable length so that the rear triangle can move the full amount of shock travel. On hardtails and systems where the rear axle is connected to the main frame by a swing arm, with no adjustable dropouts, long slotted horizontal dropouts or eccentric bottom brackets, you will also need a chain tensioner.
