The e1 EPT singlespeed chain by KMC was specially developed for the mechanical requirements of e-bike drives and comes with a resistant EcoProTeQ coating.
This ensures highly effective rust protection and a smooth chain surface so that dirt build-up can be minimised. High tensile forces as well as rain and dirt give e-bike chains a hard time. This is where the combination of reinforced riveted joints, a hardened steel alloy and a corrosion-resistant coating makes a contribution to the extremely high durability, even in e-bike drivetrains.
