Cycling fast! The special rubber compound and tread pattern of Conti's Terra Speed Protection are designed for high speeds on and off the road. The gravel tyre comes with a large edge profile for maximum ground contact on firm surfaces as well as sand and gravel. This allows you to almost fly through the road and path network while still having enough grip for hidden forest and meadow paths. The multi-layer carcass structure ensures greater safety and comfort. Featuring the ProTection puncture resistance, the fast gravel and cross tyre is designed to easily roll over rocks and other obstacles on rough terrain. Of course, the Terra Speed from Continental is also ideally equipped for tubeless use. For best results regarding sealing and performance, Continental recommends you to use Continental RevoSealant (prod. code: 2255637).

The ProTection technology offers the perfect combination of smooth running, grip and puncture resistance. The carcass construction with all-round puncture protection is particularly resistant and insensitive to damage. Despite the additional layer, the tyre offers very good damping properties and irons out even roughest terrain.

• BlackChili Compound:
The crucial question in cycle sport. The running properties of a tyre’s rubber compound largely depend on static friction (grip), mileage and rolling resistance. The BlackChili Compound is perfectly adapted to the specific purpose. For the production of BlackChili, Continental combines synthetic rubber with proven, natural rubber to get high-performance centre tread compounds. Mixed with soot particles for optimised shape and surface properties, you get the perfect compound for your cross/gravel adventures.

TR (Tubeless-Ready):
Conti tyres with this technology can be used in combination with a tube or tubeless. The Tubeless Ready base allows for easy tyre installation and provides a perfect seal.
