Barbieri Metallo NXT TPU Gravel Inner Tube 28"

The Barbieri Metallo NXT TPU gravel inner tube is part of the tried-and-tested NXT series and is designed for use on gravel bikes.

The special feature of this version: the aluminium valve. Compared to plastic valves, it is mechanically more stable and less sensitive to stress during inflation. Aluminium is also less susceptible to the heat and cold that can occur when using electric mini pumps or CO2 cartridges, for example. The inner tube uses the TPU material familiar from the NXT series, which stands for low weight, a compact design and even rolling behaviour.

In this version, the inner tube is intended for gravel tyres with a width of 35 to 45 mm.

Note:
TPU tubes may only be inflated carefully outside the casing until they are wrinkle-free and have a round shape. Barbieri specifies a maximum air pressure outside the tyre of 0.3 bar (4.5 psi) for ALL TPU inner tubes! 

Tip:
If a puncture does occur, you can repair the inner tube with the Barbieri repair kit for TPU inner tubes (prod. code: 1633460001).
