The SMILEY 3.0 FL.ACE LED children's helmet from ABUS offers many reasons to recommend it, one of them is the magnetic chin buckle. Many parents and children know it: Sometimes the chin buckle is a bit tricky to operate. It can even happen that the skin gets pinched. The FIDLOCK magnetic buckle, on the other hand, makes putting on the helmet child's play – and pinching the skin is also a thing of the past. Highlights & Technologies:

IN-MOLD:
With the IN-MOLD construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation while it foams. 
The liner is fused with the outer shell under high pressure and strong heat for a lasting connection. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to shape significantly better ventilation systems and vents. IN-MOLD helmets are therefore lighter than traditional helmets and have significantly better ventilation systems.   

EPS:
The inner shell is made of EPS (expanded polystyrene). EPS is the most efficient material for absorbing shock and impact energies. EPS is extremely lightweight and maintains its properties in a wide temperature range.
The purpose of the inner EPS shell is to prevent or reduce a rider’s head injuries in the event of a fall. The shell absorbs the impact energy and is thereby itself compressed or even destroyed (comparable to an airbag in a car). This is why you should always replace a bike helmet with a new one after an impact.

FIDLOCK:
Strong, built-in magnets allow for easy fastening and secure locking. The fastener can be operated with just one hand.

ZOOM SPIN:
Precise adjustment via a fitting system that is connected to the full ring for optimal stability and excellent fit. An anti-slip adjustment dial allows for precise adjustment. Besides, the fitting system offers wearers with long hair a comfortable advantage: A cutout in the fitting system offers enough space for a ponytail.
