MAVIC E-Deemax 30 Disc BOOST E-MTB/MTB Rear Wheel 29" HG 6 Bolt

With the E-Deemax S models, Mavic has already earned an excellent reputation among electric mountain bike riders. More speed, more weight and more altitude metres are just a few of the reasons why robust wheels are more in demand than ever in the electric bike community – especially when, like the E-Deemax, they can handle a system weight of 180 kilos and don't overwhelm the scales. The E-Deemax 30 is now set to continue this success story and pave the way for a new entry into Mavic's world of E-MTB system wheels.

The E-Deemax 30 has adopted many technologies from Mavic's S-Class, such as Pinch Flat Protection (PFP), where the support surface of the rim flanges is so large that the risk of sidecuts during punctures is significantly reduced. For more stability, the rims are welded from Maxtal aluminium and have an asymmetrical triangular profile that helps absorb hard impacts and shocks - from rough rock passages to hard landings and heavy compressions. Thanks to the 30 mm jaw width and tubeless-ready compatibility, the E-Deemax 30 can also be ridden with lower tyre pressure to increase traction and control.

The modern Infinity hub platform with self-aligning C3 industrial bearings optimises stiffness and power transmission, while the Instant Drive 360 freewheel ensures lightning-fast propulsion with high durability. Plus the wider hub flange spacing of the BOOST standard also contributes to the high wheel stability. In other words, you’ll be ready to go full throttle on your e-bike and make every jump without worrying about your equipment. Because that's exactly what the Mavic E-Deemax wheels are made for. Anything else would be a waste of time.

Mountain bikers riding without electrical assistance can also benefit from the additional stability and durability these wheels offer, especially if they place high demands on the material.

• PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) A special rim design with a wide projecting rim flange for more contact surface with the tyre. This minimises the risk of tyre failure in the event of punctures or side contact. This is particularly advantageous for E-MTBs due to the higher weight and increased drive power.
