Seat post luggage carriers are designed to carry lightweight pieces of luggage. They are specially suitable for bikes with rear shocks, as they are mounted on the seat post. Their advantages are that they can be easily mounted on almost any type of bicycle and that they are much lighter than rear luggage carriers. However, their capacity is also much smaller and amounts to 6 – 10 kg only.
