The SHIMANO CUES RD-U4000 9-speed LINKGLIDE rear derailleur offers reliable shifting performance, as well as high capacity and durability, for modern hybrid, city, gravel and e-bikes. Designed for CUES LINKGLIDE 9-speed drivetrains, this rear derailleur impresses with its precise shifting, robust construction and optimised chain guidance, making it ideal for both everyday use and longer rides.

LINKGLIDE technology has been specially developed for durable and robust drive systems. It ensures smooth gear changes and high wear resistance – even when changing gears frequently under heavy loads. The SHIMANO SHADOW RD design, with its flat profile, reduces the risk of damage when riding off-road and improves the drivetrain’s stability on uneven terrain.

Thanks to its optimised geometry and adjusted spring tension, the SHIMANO CUES RD-U4000 provides reliable chain guidance and reduces the risk of chain drops. The rear derailleur is also E-BIKE RATED and designed for long-term use on e-bikes subject to increased loads.
